Dang Mike, you keepin secrets?

I know you gotta give the customer what they want but I prefer g10 way over phenolic. Stronger , heavier, and cuts and grinds easier than phenolic. Imo
Hard to beat Big Jim’s prices if you just need material for 1 riser block

He will most likely call you back soon. But you’ll still probably have to call the office and tell them what your wanting. I don’t think it’s on the website but Jim will coordinate with the office and get you what you need.

I got this phenolic block from Big Jim 5 years ago. I'm guessing he still carries it in stock. Once spray finished it was really nice looking. Keep new belts on your sander, wear protective gear like you would with the Rosewoods.. I had a hard time sanding the fades thin, they would curl up once paper thin... ended up using a 0.040 lam for the fades. Picture is before spray finish was applied and I was still working on bow..
