Title: Not bows, but...

I really like knives, and I really like the fallkniven Idun, mostly because a well made stacked leather grip is one of the most attractive and seemingly practical options for a fixed blade knife handle.  But the Idun is too expensive for me right now, so I tried a couple practice runs and finally got the results I was hoping for.  I’m waiting for a couple of blade blanks and if anybody’s interested I’ll document the process. 

I always thought it would be a cool idea, if a bit gimmicky, to find some way to integrate some kind of built-in knife sheath on a bow.  Anybody ever play with that idea?
