Have a two tone brown/green riser Grizzly, the limbs are painted OD. It has been refinished, but decals are in place. SN GRo8o32. It is probably mid to late 70's, anyone have a more definite age?

That's a stiff one! Also, difficult to identify. Looks like someone pulled the button off and replaced it with a quiver insert. If it has a Grayling decal then it is late 1977. With Gainesville, it is 1978 to 1984. Random dark limb glass for 78 and green limb glass is 79 - 80. Black glass is 81 - 84. None of those years are FF suitable. Sorry, but I can't be any more helpful than that.

Good info. Guy I traded with thought it was 1978 and thought he remembered the SN started with GR. It does have a Gainesville decal. Not sure about the limb wood color because it was probably painted, also unsure of the string that came with bow and is currently on it.

I would say that little spot below the bottom gold insert is where the plastic Bear button was. The Bear buttons have a little peg that goes into the bow and it looks like that's what is in the bow below the insert. They often break off when you try and remove them . I think those gold inserts were added later.
