Haven’t used any of their products before but am considering a big investment into their gear.
I’m looking to get the warmest bibs and jacket they can make, specifically for whitetail hunting here in Iowa.
Wondering who has used their stuff before?

I've had an insulated pullover and insulated pants in Predator Fall Brown for years. Probably over 15. And they still look brand new. I love the stuff.
-
Have a set but I've gotten too fat to wear them. Fantastic clothing. :saywhat:
-
I had a vest made by them last year to my measurements. Very nice and extremely warm. I wanted something that didn’t bulk up in the sleeves. They have great stuff

Two of the finest people you will ever meet. Their clothing is top notch, and they stand behind everything they sell.

What they all said. ^^^^^
Except I'm have not gotten too fat to wear mine. :biglaugh:

I have
I have King of the mountain jackets, I won a Sleeping Indian suit ,and I have a vest made to fit by Gray Wolf,. My son gave me his Gray wolf jacket as it didnt fit him any longer. The Gray Wolf I think is warmer and more wind proof, better than the rest of the wool . I wear my vest the most .

How is the Wolfskin XT?
Like to get the Predator Fall Brown for hunting season here in Iowa.

I have a set of the original Wolfskin in Predator Fall Brown that I bought 24 or 25 years ago. The pullover shirt still looks new and other than some briar "pulls" the pants do too. My are unlined but I have done ok with layering different weight merino wool tops and bottoms. I had the wool pullover, pants and vest, but I found I didn't wear them often so I sold them here on the classifieds. I think the Wolfskin with the insulation would be a good purchase for you. Great quality and great service!

Ive got the heavy insulated stuff from years ago and its warm. I did not get it lined with gore tex for wind and I wish I would have. That said the new lined sitka fanatic is less bulky and thats what I gravitate towards for all day sits in Canada and ND these days. Still have mine but apparently if you store stuff to long it shrinks. :biglaugh: I would ad its well built and wears like Iron. Its an investment that will last a long time....

Jacob,
I have Gray Wolf insulated bibs, uninsulated pants, insulated vest, insulated jacket, custom mittens, and bomber hat, that are my go to colder weather gear. I have King of the Mountain in their version of most of the above items, they mostly sits in the closet because the Gray Wolf is warmer.
When ordering, order cargo pockets, they do not come with them. In addition, order cinch straps on your bow arm, their coat arms are a little bulky and arm guards are a PIA in cold weather.
Send me a pm or text if needed.

Absolutely great products. you will not regret it.

Yes, I had KOM but sold it all once I got my 1st Grey Wolf item, and continued to replace all my KOM, and my Sleeping Indian pull over.

Gray Wolf will be at the Wisconsin Traditional Archers State Shoot this weekend. Come on up and you'll be able to try their clothing on. If you call them to verify their attendance you could ask them to bring specific sizes for you. The shoot is near Madison (Verona) at Blackhawk Archers. There'll be lots of fellow stickbow shooters there to help you spend your money. And I'm sure there'll be other merchandise there as well. Free on-site camping is usually available at this event.

I have several different wool clothes. Ten years ago had grey wolf make me bibs and vest. They still look and work like new sold all the rest. Best hunting investment ever made, bow doesnt help if shivering and not on stand. From Illinois, to Montana, Texas and Vermont they never let me down.

If only someone take a duckcotton carhart, and put wool inside or cowboy suede, 3 rivers line it wool
