Title: glove or tab
Post by: Lori on August 18, 2021, 04:17:29 PM
My husband kept telling me that I was turning my palm down on release and said that I need to learn to use my ring finger more and keep my big muscles working in line better. I guess when it gets really bad, my drawing side elbow comes up as i release, the hand goes down while turning the palm face down and messes up the arrow flight.  His idea was for me to use a tab. Well I'll be cow kicked. He ordered a cant pinch tab. Now i can feel when the middle and ring finger are working well and it is natural to keep everything in proper position, plus I get perfect arrow flight and maybe even a little bit faster arrow speed.  Does that all sound right?

I have been using a tab for so long, I can no longer make a comparison between tabs and gloves other than to say that I like the tab more. I do have a good sense of touch with the tab. I'm glad you have found success with it.

When I use a glove (I have 4 of the popular ones), my shots are a lot more erratic, my release isn't as clean and my anchor point isn't as solid. But even with tabs (I have 8 of those), I have ones that are better than others. Use what works for you.

I use a tab as I believe I get a better release since I shoot 3 Under, The Safari tuff tab is the best I have used
