Title: Finally I got a Sage

After a 12 month wait my bucket list bow arrived. A 66" Sage By Dave Miller.  A true Hill style asl. It was well worth the wait. 
taught by Mr Shultz how was taught buy Howard Hill himself.

Kinda handsome. What were you thinking, ordering a looker like that? Now, every time you go somewhere to shoot, someone is going to ask about that bow. (How does it shoot btw?)

Thanks She is purdy.  She shoots like a dream oh so smooth. I don't she is to slow either 47# @27" 27.5 " woodies at 11.5 gpp.

Is that a thin fiberglass backing over the bamboo backing and a strip of carbon in the middle of the limb?

There is not any backing of any kind! Dave puts the strip of what he calls special laminate in the middle to help prevent limb twisting.
