Here is one I just made for a long time Trad Gang follower and she's headed to Texas.
I forged the blade from a 1 1/8" round bar of W1 and clay processed it for a hamon.
The handle is what I refer to as "utility grade" Desert Ironwood.

Even plain ole boring ironwood is always a looker. Its easily one of my favorite handle materials.
