Picked up this 1962 Kodiak about a month ago. Thought it was a 61 at first. Had a person that knows the kodiak bows and he confirmed it is a 62. The riser has the rosewood but is very light colored because the sapwood was used. The I-beam is the dark rosewood heartwood, I think it make it pretty special. Anybody ever seen anything like it???? Its a 40# also which is what I love to shoot.

Here it is next to a dark heartwood.

Here is the glass color.

Beautiful, very unusual bow. The 62's are my favorite of the Bear bows - including the Kodiak Special and Magnum.

That is gorgeous!
