Title: What do bowyers use in the risers?

I recently bought a used Black Widow bow and I like to make custom game calls to go along with my bows.  I'm wondering if the colored material they use in their bows is micarta, G10 or something else all together?  Anyone have any ideas?  I thought about calling them but thought I'd start here.  Thanks!
