Thought I would post this for your review. It is a good overview of the seat and will give those that have not experienced the seat a good idea of what it is.

Since there's a Waldrop seat thread running, I thought I'd up this video.

Yes, it's very informative on both seats.

What Terry said. Great vid, great seat. No doubt the best made on the planet!!! :readit:

I hear they have made some changes for the better, without raising the price. Owner has been contacted and will post soon. They sound great if what I heard was true.

Thank you for your trust in our seat. We have had much feedback on our seat and have taken some of the recommendations to heart. We have listened to our customers!!!
We have made some pretty major changes to the seat to include modifying the shoulder straps to a 2" width for more comfort and strength as well as the biggest change of modifying the frame itself to allow for the seat the pass through the frame to the rear of the seat which now allows it to become a pacframe.....we have been able to do this without any price increases. In todays market, that a big obsticle to overcome.
We have one of the video's completed that shows a good demonstration of the seat. Please let me know your thoughts. We are a small USA Columbus Ga company making a seat that we believe is the best on the market for ground hunting. We build the entire seat by hand and from raw materials. I can't thank everyone enough for their support.

I wonder...for those of us that already have the "old" style, could we drill holes lower on the frame & re-locate the seat pivot bolts there to allow the seat to clear the cross piece?
-
Great innovation... Going to start a new thread about the improvements....

TWCPac, will all new orders arrive with these updates—the wider straps and the pass through seat?

Jimmy
They are covered up at the moment, but I just emailed them about this thread...
-
All new seats shipping out are of the new design with straps and seat pass through.

Thank you. I've been eyeing these for years. The new updates may have just pushed me to pull the trigger.

I noticed there is now a turkey seat version. Which is the better one for all types of hunting? The original or the turkey seat? The only issue with the turkey seat that I can think of is I doubt it gets you up high enough to shoot from a manufactured ground blind, I would assume the windows are too high.

Since the turkey seat is designed for turkeys, the original will be the best all around.
