Title: Book recommendations
Post by: Brokearcher on November 15, 2022, 12:12:30 PM
Hello everyone, apologies if this has been asked before I tried finding it before asking but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I’ve recently moved back home to Indiana and have access to my Dad’s workshop and am wanting to get into building my own bows. I’m looking for any books or other learning resources that I can get to get a better understanding of the building process. It seems the more I read into it the more confused I get. Do you guys recommend doing one of the Bingham builds first to get a good understanding of the process? I’m specifically looking for resources on building take down laminated recurves.

Thanks for the help!

I suggest contacting KennyM who posts here on the bench regularly.

Kenny also sells everything you will need to build a bow on his website, Kenny's custom archery.

He will help you immensely and you can call and talk to him personally.

He is a sponsor here on trad gang also.

You will not find a better man to deal with.

Also you can ask all the questions you want right here in the bowyers bench and several guys will reply to you.

Welcome to trad gang.
