Andy, where is it fraying? Do you use a metal nock point? If so, you may want to switch to a tied on nock. I put mine through some heavy use and sometimes get tiny hairs raising off the stalls, I just wave them over a lighter and they roll right back up.

I ve had the same problem. If its fairly new you should be able to send back for a new one. I just burned my down with a lighter. It worked for a little while and just recently burned it down again. Gilbert.

I string wax the nylon. Makes it slicker and slows down the fraying to just about nothing.

i use a brass nock but i nock my arrow under it and i shoot three fingers under.
i have tried burning it back but it frays so bad that its really not much help, got a new one and its doin it again.
it frays on the edges and at my finger tips.
