I am loving my new Black Widow carbon limbs....tuning before I fletch, using Easton Axis Traditional 400's, 100 grain brass inserts, 250 grain points....the bow is only 50 pounds. These are flying great, this bare shaft shot was about 17 yards.

You're not alone!!!

I bares shafted some woodies and they shattered. I do carbons, but not woodies.

Looking good, that should make one heavy arrow.
-
Roger, how long is your shaft.
-
I always bare shaft including :archer2: woodies. I'm care full to start up close with the woodies to prevent breaking them.
-
I for sure don't want to break any of those footed shafts!!!

62 inch PCH......the carbon limbs are new. I have had the bow quite awhile.

Roger I have the same BWC just with 56” and 51#. I use a FMJ400 29” 250 upfront.

How is penetration on whitetail sized animals? Probably going to use ABOWYER single bevel heads.

Nice heavy arrow Roger.
