Title: Riser alignment pin glue
Post by: buckeyebowhunter on September 03, 2023, 01:10:06 PM
What's everyone use for glue on alignment pins? Haven't really had too many come out, but had one recently and thought about trying jb weld.

I use EA40 because I always have it, same on threaded inserts.  I do grind or file a little divot on 2 sides of pin to keep it in place.

i've always used CA, but like Kenny said, i hit the lower portion of the pins with an 80 grit sanding disc to rough em up. kirk

You know what I found works great for the pin holes in your limbs? Good old Johnson’s past wax. I take a heat gun and warm up the wax until it starts to liquify, then take a Q tip and lube up the holes. I would imagine regular parifin wax would do the trick too, or even string wax.
