I owned an original Packseat when they first came out. It was very comfortable, but it set a little too close to the ground for me, as this was before I had both knees replaced. Heck, I had a hard time getting in and out of my truck then too!
I have read that the new version of the seat is a bit higher off the ground. How much higher is the new version? I'm sure that one of the videos on the Waldrop site makes mention of the seat height, but I haven't found it yet. I am a bit over 6' tall and wondering if any of you 6 footers have any comment on the new version seat height.
Thanks in advance for any and all feedback! Mike

I don't know where my seat fits in the history of them but I've had mine three years and measured the front of the seat at 17.5" above ground and the seat bag about 15" up.
There are adjustable straps and laces on the seat where you might tighten them up and increase the height a bit.
I'm about 5'11" and have had two knee replacements and find my pacseat very comfortable. AND...I do practice shooting sitting in my seat too.
Hope this helps.

I have the version on the left with the extensions because felt like I sat too low with the original, I'm six feet.
That said don't know what the new owners are doing with the seat as far as height goes? I know that on the newest ones the seat can be used on either side of frame for a seat or as a platform for packing out stuff. Those of us with the older versions don't have that option.
