I’ve got another full overlay Sasquatch coming down the home stretch here. The overlays are some kind of exotic rosewood, and don’t really know where it comes from other than my shelf full of mics hardwood.  Pretty stuff though…

This Leopard wood is tricky to sand and has a lot of difference from hard grain to soft density. You need a real hard disc on your palm sander, and even still it requires blocking it out by hand to avoid grain wiggles….
