Has anyone tried Bearpaw glass lately? Has it gotten any better or still unpredictable?

Years ago I had issues with it being all over the map on draw weight just using black. But it was all weaker than Gordon’s by 5# at least….. I would mind that either getting a bit more core to glass ratio, but it was too much hassle to mess with. I had bows 1.5” out of tiller with that crap…..  :dunno:

It looks like Gordans is what needs to be used, hopefully they can keep it clear.

Right now Gordon's is really good and clear.

To me it's worth the $10 or whatever extra to have clear glass.

I do like the roll idea so you can cut with no waste, but that probably won't happen...

I suppose if you were mass producing 100's of low cost bows and just selling stock on hand, that the Bear Paw glass would work fine. Match up the draw weights, write it on the bow, and go..... But for custom bows where you need to hit certain draw weights, i sure wouldn't use the Bear Paw glass.
