My band saw crapped put on my 1/3 of the wat through my form. Will finishing it up with a jigsaw be sufficient, I'm figuring it'll be more work to get square. But it's kind where I'm at.

You could be working on that for a long time trying to get it smooth and square.
You need to have a pattern (1/2" plywood).
Stay away from the line on the form, screw the pattern to the form and use a router to finish it off.

Yeah that'd what I was worried about. Thought I might be able to make it work with my spindle sander. And I have read that forum like 100 times. Thought I was ready until my bandsaw quit on me.

I use the same system Kenny has on his build along with a pattern , only i have a 2hp router mounted on a section of one of my work benches and use a much bigger flush cut bit.
Using a router table is much easier for me to keep the cut edge 90 degrees than free handing with a 2" flush cutter, but you need a nice flat off fall table.
But it can be done ok with a steady hand like Kenny's photos.

I ended up going to my uncles woodshop and using his bandsaw. I worked it a bit on the sander then was able to sand it square by hand.

Appreciate it. I am very fortunate to have a very talented woodworker in the family.
