Here are some photos of the Outstanding Belt Buckles.  In reality, three different buckles IF they're on their A Game!

This will be my first time at the Howard Hill Classic. Since the campsites are first come only, does anyone know when I should plan to get there for a site with water and electric?

I would say Wednesday, to early on Thursday, since the event starts on Thursday.  There is camping with water & elec. around the sign in area, also along the creek when you cross the bridge into Farley Field.  If you don't get there early enough, there are still plenty of campsites in the main area of the Park.

For those of you that have never been to Tannehill Historical State Park, you're in for a treat. For those that HAVE been, you know what I'm talking about. Gorgeous Park with a lot of history.

Folks, the Tannehill General Store burned to the ground this past Tuesday night, Feb. 27th, 2024.
This building was over 120 years old and was certainly part of Alabama's history.  The General Store was place at Tannehill State Park in 1991. [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I know something will ultimately be built in it's place, but the historic value can never be replaced..

I hope we have a great turn out at this year's Howard Hill Classic to help.

I don't know, but surely all structures because of their historic value are insured.

Many of you may not know this, but Tannehill & Brierfield state Parks don't get funded like other Parks in Alabama. I've never understood why.

We all know much of history is trying to be erased on purpose, but I really feel this was a tragic accident.

Hope y'all can make it.

Folk, the 20th is shaping up to a great event, getting calls from people who have never been before.

It'll be here before we know it.

By the way, I will be selling a few, but still in OUTSTANDING condition, Rinehart targets and AT GREAT PRICES!!!  First come to get one or a few.

Sad to here of the old store. Tannehill is indeed a treasure and if visited one can’t help but want to return!

That's sad to hear Terry, once things like that are gone they can never really be replaced.

TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AWAY!!

Folks, many of you know that Craig Ekin is retiring and the doors the Howard Hill Archery Co. will close at the end of April.

There are approximately SIX COMMEMORATIVE BOWS left and these will be the LAST LIMITED EDITION bows Craig will ever build.

If you're interested, you need to give Craig a call.

Getting called from all around, many have never been here before, I guess the 20th Anniversary is sort of a milestone for any event.

Got an email from a couple of guys coming from Ontario as well.

A little over FOUR weeks now.

FOUR DAYS AWAY NOW!

Folks, it has a great 20 years, Rhonda and I have met some truly wonderful people and have made untold outstanding friends.

With that said, like the old saying goes:

"ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END".

The 20th will be the last Howard Hill Classic.

Such memories will stay with me the rest of my life and I want to thank all those that help make them.

I’ve been to a lot of shoots but never any like HH. A very well put together event with great folks always attending and the largest gathering by far in the southeast. I commend you on a job well done And the shoot will be forever remembered. Thanks so much for all you did to bring it to a beautiful Park.

Thank you Possum Head.

Tomorrow is the day folks, the START of the FINAL Howard Hill Classic.

I would personally like to thank all those that have made it here to Alabama over the years.

Even through COVID, many of you came to one of the few Traditional Archery Events in our great country that wouldn't let the CHINA VIRUS shut us down.

GOD Bless you all.
