Anybody have a bandsaw that takes 131.5” blades? I have several blades that aren’t really too dull but won’t cut flat grain veneers without wandering a little so they get replaced .
1/2 and3/4 and 3-4 tpi hook
They can be had for cost of shipping.

Yes Kenny that is what I use . Thanks

Some are kinda rusty from hanging. I'll see if I can get some coiled back up.. :biglaugh:

Do you think it would be safe to order some glass at the same time.
-
We can probably do that with some careful packing
-
I will send you a E mail

So are you guys running 18" band saws for that 131.5" blade length? My 18" Jet runs 133"... :dunno: :dunno:

I learned that in the early 80's and cut and welded the blades also with the blade welder on the bandsaw. :goldtooth:

That makes sense now being an inch smaller.
I’ve never used gloves in the shop… period. The only time I’ll use gloves is working with steel and grinding. If you need gloves for wood working, you need to work on thickening up your calluses….

I told them that at work when they made us wear gloves on the job. I nearly had my hand torn up when the glove got caught on a piece of equipment. I promised to sue the hell out of them if I ever get hurt.
Dave.

EXACTLY!!!! If someone told me i had to wear gloves running shop tools, i'd tell em to pound sand and find a different job... It's dangerous... But if i had to twist up brand new bandsaw blades all day, i would definitely wear gloves to save on band aids alone...
