Seniority still applies, but I still remain the right to personaly invite hunters, post here if you are wanting in on this spectacular hunt.. We will do the exact same thing as last year, yet week 2 on the anex will be a little different, yet better now that I have the info from this years debut. We will be attacking that property completely different and might even be cutting the number fron 9 to 7 that week.
Please post here if you are interested in attending and what week you might be interested in. Date will be close to the same as this year.
-
January 18th - Feb 7th is what I suspect... will clear with Jerry next week. Saturday arrival, Friday departure. Pic your week.
-
Also, if you have never been, please put your name down. Anyway, you never know, as we had 3 cancelations last year and new people got to come. Also, the Arkansas Mafia, after 5 years hunting with us wanted to go on an elk hunt so that left 6 new openings.
-
I would certainly be interested in a week 1 hunt again. This year was a bit damp, but there were great people in camp, and I had a "blast" ! Thank's.
-
I would gladly come back. This year I was week 2 but would change weeks if need be.
-
Hunter and I are in. It would be nice to roam the north side again next year.
-
No worries Nathan, you are in on Paradise Palms. Week 1 or 3 or either.?
-
Week 1 for me again...it can't rain two years in a row
-
I would like in. Earlier the week the better. I had to cancel last year and would really like to go. Lol
-
I'm in.
-
I'd like to attend again. Week 1 if possible.
Thanks,
Gary
-
I’m in! Hunt#3…hopefully all of the same guys can stay the same! Thanks Terry!
-
I would like to go back 0n week 2 for next year. already looking forward to the hunt. John Edwards
-
I’m in! Hunt #3 - Hopefully all the guys can make it back down!
-
Got everyone noted so far on Paradise Palms and Castle Tower properties.
Group 3, someone needs to take the lead on that if y'all all want to come back that week. I love helping, but I can't do it all. I can't create more work than I'm already doing to facilitate a group.
As most of y'all know I try my best to plan the hunt, arrange all participants, set guys in the best places I can, and pre corn all those places before the hunters arrive. I just can't take on much more.
I love doing what I do to the MAX, and I need to keep it that way and not get burnt out or distracted from helping others the best I can.
Group 3, choose a leader, figure out how many want to come back.
I will need to talk to the Arkansas Mafia as they have one year less seniority as Joe and I. If they want in, they are in on which ever week they want. I will be contacting the Mob Boss this week.
Please continue to post if you want in. If anyone had been here on this hunt for 5 out of the last 6 years, yes, I will give you the same courtesy as the Arkansas Mafia.
Thx,....can't wait, it calls me like it's calling some of you right now.
-
And by the way , I saw psycho 8 times the first week and 7 times the third week as we didn't hunt week 2 on that property.
I have him patterned pretty well and will be seriously after him, and Andre next year also. who is across the road on the Castle Tower property.
Although Andre might be a state record in his massive size , Psycho is the ultimate challenge.
I would be happy with either but i'm seriously going after Psycho. It's about wit more than size. :campfire:

You don’t have to ask Mr. Green I am in I need some revenge Hunt 3 :biglaugh:
-
I am in for next year, but the only problem is that I kinda have to schedule around another hunt, for which the dates aren't set yet. Leanging towards week 1, but might have to be group 3 again. They guys from group 3 were great.
-
Terry, count me in hopefully with the same group as this year. Tom Branya
-
Blake, you crack me up!!! Is Skip in?
Sandrat is in for ramroding week 3, so make sure you check in with him. I'm pretty sure you will get revenge!!! I would love to be there when it happens.

I hear ya Tom, you need revenge as well!!!
-
I would like to throw my name into the hat.
Preference to hunt with woodsman. Meathead, and ark. Traveler if possible. Good camp mates right there.
-
Sure thing Higgens, let's see what plays out....

Week 3 Yes. I am betting Mr. Phillips will ring in shortly for week 3 as well
-
Gotcha Bill, getting bombarded with texts and emails... you for sure have seniority !!! You are in fir week 3 for sure.
-
Lots of moving parts in my life, but I think that was a blast! And intend to make the trip.
Blake and I enjoyed the ride-14 hours for 2 days, but we saw lots of new country.

Some of the highlights was when we seen the aftermath of spike strip in Hawthorn NV

Love it!!!
-
I'd like to come again this year, we'll see what I can work out.
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2: :campfire:
-
Terry, Ken and I are going to pass this year. That will free up a couple slots for some new guys.
Z
-
Skip, are you saying you want to come next year????
Better get it while you can, that's why I'm still wide open cause one day I won't be able to!!!.
-
I'm certainly in if I can get in. Week 2 with the same group would be great. But, my schedule if flexible. Either property for me. Made it home in 20 hours driving straight through. The drive gets shorter every year.

-
PDK is in, remember him saying something about week 1.
-
Terry
Hunter and I would be up for either week 1 or 3. Whichever fills out camp best for everyone.
-
Got it meathead....
Sorry Bob and Ken, I missed your post.
.
AND, we will miss your food!!!!! :knothead:
-
Great stuff guys, wish I could make it.
-
Can’t wait for LTR 2025! Here are my heads from this year.
-
Those look awesome!
-
Off to a great start for repeat offenders.... if you have never been and would like in... post away.
-
Any other repeat offenders?
The wait list has two TGers on it.
-
Week 1 for me
-
Yep Patrick, I added you as soon as you texted me.
Week One is full at the moment, with 2 Arkansas Mafioso's checking.
-
2 still on hold Paradise Palms.
4 openings on week 2. Palms Extension
1 opening on week 3. Paradise Palms.
-
Don't miss out on the chaos! This is a great partner hunt as well as solo. And a great father son hunt. Week 2 is going to be busy as I have eliminated 2 areas yet anylized all other data from last years hunters who are coming back. And I have found 2 other areas that are much more prone to javie habitat. More cover and more water. I can't wait to hear the stories that come out of week 2 this next year.
The rain shut us down from pre corning this year, but that won't be the case this year for sure. As I have a plan.
Come join use for a fabulous adventure.
1 still on hold Paradise Palms.

Anyone?
-
If you have never sneaked up on hogs in the middle of the night, you have no idea what you're missing. It is the ultimate rush. Patrick and I have left the ranch five times and brought back seven hogs. Get on board While you can.

Ruminating!

I have reconed 2 areas for week 2 that weren't in play last year and I shared them with Joe and he's all on board. It was just a shame that we had no time to really research the property with the risk of tearing up the family's property roads due to all the rain.
But we now have 2 areas that we feel are very.
Huntable due the thickness of the brush. And they should be very productive and both have ponds within the locale. Not counting these two spots. The others all have data collected. This year we will be corning before hunt and monitoring the 2 new areas.
We need 4 more for week two if all possible. But at least two hunters would be great to help solidify these other two spots.
-
I'll second what Terry just said. Driving around that part of the ranch at the end of the week of the hunt there, the areas of the property Terry is referring to looked very good -- lots of cover and tracks, etc.. Looking at satellite photos confirmed that those areas of heavy cover are large enough to hold tons of javelinas. These new locations were not hunted during the 2024 hunt and should be productive. There are some large javelina on that side of the property.
-
Thanks, Joe.I'm really excited for week two next year because of what we have found and how we are going to accelerate and improve on the areas that were productive already.
We need four hunters to join us on these two plots that we have found. And if we can't find, 42 will be good enough too. Great Partners to hunt together or singles for that matter will work also.
I don't think people realize what they are missing by not coming to these hunts.Because it is absolute chaos at times Blake Marsters can explain everything as just for one.

If your on the fence about going on this hunt JUMP ON IT! I have never in 45 years of bowhunting had so much fun I have been a member of Trad Gang since 2005 and I have watch these hunts unfold on PowWow and dream of going when I retired in 2023 I posted it here on Trad Gang Mr. Terry Green replied "I'll put you on the list for LTR 2024 my wife said your going! I never shared a hunting camp with this many guys in my life it alway just my brother and I everyone on this hunt was like your best friend no joke! if you missed or made bad hit and I did these guy were upbeat making you feel better. You want go hungry the bunkhouse has two bathrooms nice beds. We had such a good time that all of group 3 are coming back together in 2025. If you hit a hog or Javalina we have the best tracking hound out of state of Georgia Mr. Terry Green he will do everything in his power to find you Javalina I been with him when he was crawling in the thickest stuff South TX has , Terry looks like he has the Measles red dots up and down his arms. Terry hunted with Skip and I and Skip pulled some thorn's out of Terry back. And can not forget Mr. Smoken Joe this man is a wealth of information what you'll need on this hunt. So again if you want to go on this hunt than come on I think Terry said that there was three or four opening is between week 1 and week 2 so jump in and if you got question just ask anyone one that's been on this hunt I am sure you will get the same response. Here's a photo of Mr. Green on the bloodtrail

What TB1965 said. I can’t believe that there are openings at all for this hunt! Ken and I have hunted there the last 3 years…we won’t be there this year because he and I are doing a bucket list aoudad hunt instead…you can bet we will be back in 2026.
Great camp fellowship…we have made numerous new trad friends and we have always had opportunities to kill javis! We both missed javis this last trip.. :dunno:
one thing is for sure, if you do this hunt you will get several good adrenaline dumps even if you don’t kill anything!
Get off the fence! :goldtooth:
-
Thanks, Bob.We will surely miss you and Ken this coming year.
Weak one is now full as the Arkansas mafia has taken over.
Week two has four openings and we have two new places that we're really excited about so somebody should be jumping in. Someone really needs to consider hunting that at night for hogs. Also as it has yet been hunted for hogs, heck I'll go with you just for the adrenaline rush.
And we have one opening for week three back on the original property. Everyone from week 3 is coming back except for Patrick who has to change plans and come on week one.
-
I have been on this hunt the last two years. It's definitely a great time. Great guys to hang out with. Low pressure hunt until that javelina is 7 feet away. On week 2, you can roll out of bed at 08:00 and I'll have breakfast ready for you. You start hunting a little before 09:00 when the javis wake up. Can't wait for the next hunt. JV
-
Yep planning on a repeat of everything except not dropping a string. Lots of moving parts in my life
-
This is sounding great. Many of the hunters in camp will be repeats from last year. Excellent fellowship with hunters who are really good.
-
Looking forward to it. Saw a bunch this year, but no shooting...we're out to change that next year !
-
I will probably be seeing some folks that I know in group one, but missing the guys from group 3 as well.
-
Here's what's available.....
4 openings on week 2. Palms Extension
1 opening on week 3. Paradise Palms.
Remember, we do not hunt the same ranch 3 weeks in a row. There are two properties and the Palms Extension is across the street. That is week two.
-
Still looking for hunters that like target rich chaos hunts!!!

And like Joe said, there are some big Javies across the Street and two new places we've investigated that will be VERY promising.
-
Terry, Ken and I will fill a couple of those spots on week 2. We decided life is too short to pass up a great hunt. Looking forward to reconnecting with crew from last year!
Get me the details and we will get our deposits in. Can’t wait… :goldtooth:
