Title: Big Jim has Covid!
Post by: BigJim on February 29, 2024, 09:24:31 AM: Hey Ya'll, I just wanted to let those of you know who are planning to attend the Florida state shoot this weekend that I won't be setting up. This is the first time that I have not been able to attend a scheduled event since I have been working in the archery business...16 years. I tested positive for covid today and even though I am not experiencing symptoms as bad as my wife, I can't in good conscience risk my customers/friends health. with any lucky, it won't happen for another 16 years.. or more!

Some how, this has affected a nerve (probably sciatic) in my hip and I can only walk with crutches. The covid is almost gone however.

Tonight I will try some left over pain pills and a little bourbon. Anything to be able to sleep! :biglaugh:

Post by: BigJim on March 05, 2024, 10:11:08 PM: Today they gave a steroid pack.. hopefully it will help with the nerve pain. Spent a couple of hours in the shop tonight on one leg, but that only screws up the back.
