I thought it might be interesting to see how many bows guys and gals have used to take animals over their hunting span. Me, just 3.
-
Ben Pearson recurve I started out with, small doe in PA. Damon Howatt Hunter 65#, I had for twenty years, deer and small game. MOAB a turkey and several hogs. Big River recurve, hogs and deer. Four. If barn cats and pigeons count then the 25# green Fiberglas bow that got me started.
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2: :campfire:

3 for me as well. Robertson Peregrine recurve, Stotler longbow and Toelke Chinook.
-

Just one at a time. :goldtooth:
Seriously, 3 bows but mostly my Bear K Mag.
-
Interesting, never really thought about it...hmmm. 1 Assenheimer, 3 different Black Widow MA'S- counting risers. Several other sets of limbs but I won't count those separately. 4 different Jack Howard gamemaster Jets, 50, 51, 59, 61 lbs. 2 different RD longbows my buddy built. 2 different Northern Mist longbows, one 53lbs, one 64 lbs, both Shelton's. An ILF rig and a Wing P2. Almost forgot, killed a handful with an Ancient Spirits recurve.
I guess that makes 15 different bows...

May have taken a couple hogs with my Big River D/R longbow 21st Century clone, as well. Sometimes it's hard to remember what stick I was carrying, when. (6)
