In 15 years of custom bow building i have never seen the bottom of my waiting list for custom bows. I typically have a 5-6 month wait time on all of my orders. But.... I have finally caught up on all my orders for the first time ever, and would like to get more work lined up again soon.
For first 4 bow orders i receive, i will guarantee a delivery time between 30-60 days and offer a 10% discount on any of the bows i build. The next 4 orders following will be discounted 5% with delivery time at 60-90 days.
You will find descriptions and photos of all the different bow designs that i custom build on my website. I have many happy customers all over the world, and would like to add some of you to that list..... Please take time to read some of the testimonials of the bows i've built. i'll look forward to hearing from you soon....

Kirk made me a beautiful Flatliner take-down about 1-1/2 years ago. Excellent bow, very solid and quiet. I had a dry-fire during a shoot, I called Kirk, he diagnosed it over the phone, I sent the riser and good as new.
Very pleased with the entire process start to finish and the manner in which he fixed my problem.
If I needed another bow, which I don’t I would jump on this offer.

Sure is tempting!
RMS gear has one of your used recurves for sale right now. It looks amazing and is a screaming deal (the problem? It is a lefty!)

Hi Kirk
I think unfortunately what you might be experiencing is the influx of cheap Chinese bows, and the downturn in economy. I live in Australia, so perhaps I'm not able to make a comment on the American economy, but I know here in Australia, folks are really finding things tough. I wanted to buy a new custom bow from the States, but was shocked at what it would cost me now. We have a bad exchange rate at the moment, so a $1,000 US bow would be $1,700 AUD. Then customs duty and shipping (for a one-piece to Australia can cost as much as 250 dollars). When all of these things were added up, it was going to cost me around $2500 for a bow from the States. I bought a Chinese ILF bow, with bamboo and carbon limbs. Shoots and points like a dream and cost $400. I'm not saying what is happening is good - it's not. I would rather have a beautiful custom bow from the States, and support 'local' workers, but I just couldn't afford it. Have I summarised this correctly? Do you think these things are affecting bowyers in the States? I wish you all the best for new orders. Sutto

You may be right about a lot of folks tightening their belts a bit due to economics. but there will always be a market for high quality custom bows. There is no comparison to the cheap China products, or production line bows.
I have quite a few bows that i've custom built and sent to Australia over the years, as well as all over the Europe countries, and the Orient. I have one in progress going to Germany right now...
I wish you well, and i'm sorry you cannot take advantage of my discounted rate at this time. Please let me know if things come around for you. I'd love to build something special for you.
