Title: Band saw blade

My lenox tri master just broke for the 3rd time today. I cut a lot of risers and limbs with it, probably 30 bows total. It was a pretty good blade for cutting nasty stuff, but I'm having trouble with the idea of purchasing another at the moment since they're like 160 bucks now. Anyone have any recommendations for something decent at a more economical price?

I recently broke one from my own dumassedness and had to order another.

Would be good to know if there is a cheaper alternative that works as good as the trimaster

Seems like I read once you need fair sized wheels on saw for those.  I had one on an old Craftsman 12" and it didn't ever break tho.

I wish i could get these in 1/2" depth, but they don't make them anymore that i can find.

Havent used it yet but i purchased a 10tpi bimetal blade that a few woodworking forums were giving some credit to.   I bought it strictly to cut g10 and some fiberglass.  Its called a hellbender bimetal by Blade serpent for about 50 bucks may worth the shot i believe.  No carbide but they say "combines durable sintered powder metal teeth with a high-strength alloy steel backer"

Dylan, you'll have to keep us posted on how well that performs. As soon as the bi metal blades I've used touch any glass they're toast.

sounds good ill go from soft to hard with woods and then blast it with g10 and see whats happens

I just received a 1/2" Carbide Resaw-King blade for my JET bandsaw (116") about 3-4 weeks ago.  Ordered it directly from Laguna. They took their sweet time filling the order, but it finally showed up with a few back-and-forth emails with their customer service. 
I have email contact from the gal I dealt with if your interested.
Not cheap, but I love this thing - cuts like all get out.
