Title: Anyone still shooting Micro-Flite's ?
Post by: Cody Roiter on June 22, 2024, 11:11:55 PM
I personally have a love for the vintage yellow fiberglass mirco-flite's shafts. Just wondering if anyone else still uses them ?

I shoot #7's & #8's I truly believe they are the best all around arrow shaft  :archer:

I have about 4 dozen brand new microflite 12’s.  I would shoot them, but I only have a few inserts for them.

Rob do you need the point inserts? 2216 or 2219 should fit.

I’ll try those out.  I was going to take one to Africa for a giraffe, and had a buddy turn a brass one.  Wasn’t all that true, so I decided to just use the grizzly stik arrows  I took.  Didn’t matter as I never got a good shot opportunity on a bull.  Thanks for the info sir!  Those were in my old mans hoard so I should kill something with one of them.

Those were the first arrows I shot. I started bow hunting in 1966 with a Ben Pearson 709 hunter with micro flight arrows. I have a small collection of Pearson bow and several micro flight arrows with original heads. I thought about using some of them to hunt with but I still like using wood shafts and don’t want to tear up the other arrows
