I was able to get some time off from work and make a cross-country drive to meet up with some friends for some hog hunting, and on the way I decided to take up a friend on a generous offer. He had pictures of a nice hog on his lease and was not going to be able to, chase this for a while and he offered to let we have a crack at it. he had been coming in every day, but did not show up until about 5 AM the next morning after I got there. The only thing I could think was that I had to cross by a wallow on the way to the stand and he probably cut my trail. Fortunately, he came in the second day and as soon as he gave me a shot. I took it. he only made it 40 or 50 yards and I could hear him go down and moan. Super hot for me, probably around 90° and I was dripping sweat, but pleased to have gotten the job done. This is my biggest hog so far with the Paul Bunyan. [ You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
