I know its a year out but my hunt fills up every year and we keep the groups to around 6 hunters. We are looking at August 20th +- a day as the start day. If you've been around at all you know mine and others success at this place. I completed the South African Spiral Horn Slam there and many Traditional and Primitive Bowhunter's have hunted with me there, Terry can vouch for the operation. We will have exact travel dates to and from very soon, but its not that critical until around January to book flights.

Cost for the first 6 day archery hunt is 2950.00 which includes an Impala Ram and a Wildebeest Cow. There will be another 6 day hunt following the first but it will be a Flintlock hunt, but nothing says that you cant do both hunts with a bow. Louis is working up a price and animal package cost for those that want to do both 6 day hunts.

This in an all inclusive hunt with airport transportation from Johannesburg Airport and back to the airport at the end of your hunt. There are no shots or vaccines required to hunt South Africa. If your in the first group I will get you through all the airport and customs from Atlanta to Johannesburg. You can shoot any or all the animals not included in your package for only the trophy fee. Also all moneys are sent to the US so there are no exchange or wire fees in the payment of these hunts. There are some money fees in the Taxidermy and trophy side of it later on.

This is an amazing opportunity to hunt Africa at an outfit that knows and specializes in the type of shot distances that we want and need.

Get with me for any serious inquires or questions that you might have and to make a 1500.00 deposit to reserve your spot on this amazing opportunity.

Mike, I would like to add to your post. How about some couples?  How about a lady who shoots a traditional bow?   My Wife can’t be the only lady Tradbow hunter out there.  Some of you gentlemen need to at least suggest it to the ladies even if they want to just visit Sofala.  Many ladies have hunted there with firearms and crossbows. Some weren’t even planning on hunting when they got there.  But, it would be great to see some lady tradbow hunters in addition to my Wife visit Sofala.  Anyway, Sofala is a great experience for the ladies too

Yes she does,  now we just need these other couples we see at shoots and read about to realize that Sofala is a fantastic place for couples and families.

Mike, maybe we need to organize a couples trip to Sofala some year!

So, for the 2950 you get those two animals. Is there a price list for other critters or a substitution rule like trade an Impala for a warthog sort of thing?

There are prices on all animals on the Sofala website. Any changes or substitutions must go through Louis the owner.

And for $3950 you can add 2 more animals.  And if that isn't enough they have bigger packages.  Hey Mike!  Do you get your taxidermy done over there or have them shipped to the states?

I have it done there now. Used to ship it back but all we do now are European skulls and flat skins.
