I'm going to hunt for a week, so will close shop during that time frame.  Be back at it on the 28th...

Back to work tomorrow, no deer, pretty tough hunting.  Temps in the 80s and windy. Deer finally started daytime moving jut as we left.

All good tho, not my first time being deerless!! :laughing:

Temps in the 80s and windy. Deer finally started daytime moving jut as we left.

They prob kickin up their heels the day we left, 32* that morning and light wind!  :laughing:

Nothing beats a cold calm morning.
Yesterday morning was my first sit, only had a few hours before client meetings.
33* and no wind, had a great 10pnt troting after a does about 15yds behind me. Non stop traffic through my creek bed all morning, probably 12-15 deer all before 930am.
Today it is 62* and Im having my coffee on the porch so I can watch the creek and only 1 doe with a youngster walked through so far.
Amazing how much that temp swing effects it.
