Those look very nice. I especially like the spalted one (pecan or maple?).

Manganese phosphate Parkerizing works pretty good.

I’ll have to look into that. Thanks! I’ve acid etched my cable Damascus. And tried quick gun blue for mono steel to darken them. But never was really happy with the results. So I’ve went the other direction as of late…sanding, buffing and polishing to a mirror finish.
