Title: Grandsons first Archery deer
Post by: Bow man on November 03, 2024, 06:04:24 AM
Friday 11-1-24 was an exciting  evening with Liam. Saw 18 or so deer this buck was the first one that came in range Liam made perfect shot. He has been working hard and shooting well getting ready for his opportunity for his first archery deer.  Last year he had many close calls but went the year with out releasing an arrow.  It has been exciting for Tracey watch this young man grow and mature

He is shooting a 58" St Joe River Torrent Longbow  48@28"  Easton Legacy arrows with a 200 Grain ABowyer broadhead.

How cool is that! Congrats to you both. Best deer he’ll ever be part of til he helps his own son/grandson. I hope there’s uncountable experiences in between that,  this is a big one

Great job, Liam!  Being a Grandparent is so much fun. That had to be so very special for you and Tracey.  You have both done so much to help lots of families enjoy archery and bow hunting together.  Thank you and congratulations!

Great job young man...grandma and grandpa too! Might be the picture angle, but for a young deer, seems to be a good-sized body! Congratulations!

I love it seeing a kid hunt with a vertical bow. It's even better seeing a  successful kid doing it the really hard way with a trad bow!  :shaka:
