Title: 11/2/24 MO buck
Post by: JakeD on November 05, 2024, 02:23:15 PM
I shot this buck on the morning of 11/2. Everything was picture perfect except for the shot. Called him right in to 15 yards broadside, but I shot high. Long story short, I didn't recover him until the next afternoon about 600 yards from the shot.  Several failures on my part prevented me from recovering this buck earlier than I did.  I had to learn some painful lessons with this one.

Nice deer.  Not all shots are perfect.  And coyotes got to eat too.  JV

Sorry it turned out the way it did, but that’s a really nice buck.

Mighty fine buck! Way to stick with finding him.  As said above, most of us have been in those shoes before.
