Hey Tradgangers....it is awesome to be a sponsor of this great site again. It is by far the best way to reach great folks in traditional archery.
As mentioned in the "new sponsor" thread, Traditional WOodsman has collaborated with Asbell Wool to create what I think is an AWESOME hunting day pack. The main compartment is roomy enough for plenty of gear (I have been using it for full size binoculars, extra jacket or vest, safety rope, bulky stuff. The pockets are well thought out and accessible. They are full of my licenses, knives, flashlights, compass, camo paint, etc.
It hangs nicely on your back....right or left side. I am often a mobile and or ground hunter...it hangs nicely on my Beast Stand or Waldrop PacSeat.
This isn't something we just threw together. Teresa and I have been designing this for a few years, on and off.
Our website was having a problem last week, if you went on and were not able to buy, please give it another look. It is fixed as of noon today, and a couple orders have confirmed this. Teresa is building 25 of these to start, I will have them in hand by weeks end. Thanks!!

Why the heck do my pictures come up sideways? Anybody?

Its the way your browser sends them out and we receive them...
No worries, I fixed them. :campfire:

Nice touch with the GFA quiver.
That pack looks sweet

This is a great idea. I have an old Horn Hunter sling pack with attached quiver. It is on its last leg, now I can replace
it. I used it for elk day pack for years, It is in ugly shape. Time for a new one.

Can you post a pic of that pack? Is the pack designed with the attached quiver or did you modify it?

I can only say "WOW!" what an overwhelming response. Thank you so much.
If you are considering becoming a TradGang sponsor......DO IT. We paid for our cost of sponsorship in less than 10 hours. What a fantastic website and amazing group of members.
Thank you.

Terry, the slingpack came with or without the quiver. I like it because the fletchings were up behind by the pack. In the brush I could manipulate them so they weren't noisey. It seems like bow quivers, and hip quivers are always
making feather noise somehow. The quiver was simply straped on the side with plastic clips. When I first received
it I thought it appeared too loose. I liked the moveability of it in the brush. I also thought it would not be durable.
Wrong! Three years in oakbrush and puckerbrush in Colorado elk hunts it heldup greatly. I have not used it the last
two years as it does not have hydration, which I really need being a flatlander. I like this new idea as it is made from
quiet fabric. Don't know how to do pictures, sorry.

I’m really liking the looks of that pack. I’d love to see some pictures showing the pockets. Also I don’t know if it has any but a few web loops sewn to the outside are always nice to have.

Curious question Roger, is there a possibility you will have a few of these available at the Expo in Kalamazoo at the Asbell booth as I know you help Teresa out running it. I would really like to see one in person, and hands on. Thanks.

This looks great! I’ve been on the lookout for something like this for some time now. I will most likely be making a purchase!

Sorry for these amateur pictures…. I literally pulled the Sling Pack out if my truck this frosty morning and laid it on my woodpile. Here are some detailed pics of the outside pockets. Note the outline of the pocket itself as sewn into the wool. They are much larger than the zipper (on purpose, so our stuff doesn’t fall out while hanging in the tree) [ You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Got to see this first hand at the Expo in Kalamazoo, looks like a very well thought out and versatile pack, I am looking forward to the reviews from the guys using it at LTR, I can see one of these in my future. Great work Roger and Teresa on this!!!
