I remember the day I turned 50 (I'm a month from 67 now) walking out of the house; sitting under a big pine in my backyard... and reflecting the consequences of age. I sort of took away from my hour long sabbatical that you plan everyday of life with the mindset that 'you can' until the day comes that you can't. It seems your already on that track. Good for you.
I'm inspired by my best hunting buddy who turned 80 in September and accompanied me on my Iowa trip this year. He plans hunts just like he did in his younger days...I think he has hunts planned out for the next three years at this point! As we all have heard, age is just a number.

The thing I hate about after the 60 mark is healing time is much longer, for even the slightest thing… it makes a guy start taking a few more precautions and asking for help moving heavy stuff. Take good care brother… 60 years old with a 30 year old mind set is dangerous. No shame asking for help at all.
