Was wondering if anyone has hunted with bushman safaris in South Africa

nope - I like Namibia better.  Less travel problems and a safe country.  Just my opinion.  I also got a better deal on the hunt.  Check out Makalaan Safaries.

If I go I pretty much have to go to bushman’s. The uncle of one of my friends owns it and is taking his son there for his graduation gift and asked me to join them. I asked them about the shot distance and the said 18-25 yards which isn’t to far but there water holes looked big and I bet the far side is like 30+ yards. Was just wondering if any traditional hunters had used them. They are archery only but the photo gallery is pics of compounds and cross bows.

Best of luck to you - enjoy the hunt and take lots of photos.
My longest shot was about 15-16 yards.  Shot a huge Kudu at 12 yards.

You should absolutely go.  You don’t have to take any shots that you feel uncomfortable with.  If you have to pass on some shots,  there will be other opportunities most likely.  If you go and don’t take a shot, the experience still will have been worth it.

I’m a huge fan of Sofala safaris when it comes to tradbows in Africa.  However, Bushman is a respectable operation and you won’t be disappointed
