Had a lot of fun chasing the bunnies Saturday and even connected twice. There were 18 hunters I believe and there were a lot of shot opportunities for everyone; some better than others. Lots of snow and lost arrows! Thanks to Greg and Ellen for hosting the event, everyone had a lot of fun.

I just got home about an hour ago. I have my tent in the garage trying to dry it out before I pack it away. I had a great time again, this is my 5th GORH and I have enjoyed all of them. Thanks again to Greg and Ellen for putting up with us.

Great pictures, and I second a big thanks to Greg & Elleen for being a great host! As always, it was a good time.
In the bottom picture Brian looks like he got caught taking the last cookie! Great bunch of guys there, food was fantastic, and we actually got up a bunch of rabbits. But boy, did that deep snow and ice make the walking fun!
Thanks for posting the pictures.

Great pics. Thanks to Greg&Ellen for the use of their wonderful home. This was my first GORH,had a great time.It was fun finally meeting some of the people who you talk to on Trad Gang.
-
Had a ball as usual. I could have done without the snow drifts, but that is the price you pay.
Was good to see old friends, and meet some new ones. Sorry I missed you this morning Tony and Kent. I didnt think you would leave quite so early.
Ted, your not allowed to pick on people unless you are there :D . I only heard your name used in vain a few times.
Greg and Ellen, what can we say? Thanks a bunch. You go above and beyond everytime and it is much appreciated.

Glad I made it once again. Although there were only 3 veterans of all the GORH wars, the newbies more than made up for it. Lots of rabbits chased and missed, but maybe, just maybe, I beat my target panic on this trip. Great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones, and thanks to Greg, Ellen and Rattus for opening their home to us. Thanks to Tony P for putting up with my snoring in the tent. Brian, sorry I missed you Sunday AM, but caution said to get on the road what with the weather and all. Took me about 1.5 hours longer to get home that to get there due to the lousy road conditions. Thanks Hoot for the bow for my son. He's excited about it. Again, thanks to all for a wonderful time, & looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Kent,
I was worried for you. 71 was terrible and it took me a little longer to get home. I have to go out and get some more kerosene so I can try and to finish drying my tent. The tent is nice but boy is it a pain in the butt to try and clean and dry.
All the newbies held there own and made for another enjoyable event.

That sure looks like fun to me!
-
Looks like you guys had a good time too, sure is a blast chasing bunnies and flinging arrows isn't it?

Chaseing bunnies in the snow sure makes for a fun time!!!!! The smiles in the pictures tell us you guys had a great time too!!!!! In the words of our great JLMBH "HuntMaster".....
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
-
Cool guys, glad to see ya had a great time, bunny huntin is a blast
-
Man I wish I could have made it. We have 2 week old twins and Tuesday the power went out. We finaly got it back Friday. So that was alot of fun for the week. I figured since it was supposed to snow again going out wouldn't make the wife to happy. I didn't even mention it. Besides if the power had gone out again with me gone... I would have been the one running instead of the rabbits. LOL
Glad you all had fun. I was at the last one and hope to be at the next one.
-
I am still sore. Glad the bunnies cooperated this year. Can't wait till next time. Greg, let me know when you need that muskrat help!!
-
Greg and Ellen, Thanks so much for your hospitality and hosting this great event! It was really nice to put a face on you gangers and share some time in the bunny camp together! Looklng forward to the next GORH.

I'M SOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!!
i wish i could have made it guys... but with the separated collar bone and all the snow i figured it would be "smarter" to pick up some work and put a little money away... (unfortunately I'm a poor college student)
On the up side i made enough to pay for my hoodie and T-shirt
:knothead: :knothead:
Hopefully I'll make it out there next time!
Good shooting guys!

Special thanks to Ellen and Greg for the great hospitality, and thanks everyone that attended for making Deb and I feel comfortable and welcome. Also, thanks Steve, the shirts are cool.
Had a great time, and Deb is now hooked. That is all she talked about for 2 days. Was her first time ever loosening an arrow, and she wears her badly bruised arm with pride while showing everybody. (Dumb arse me didn’t think she’d like it and shoot much and thought she wouldn’t need an armguard while wearing heavy clothing – wrong…8^))
The event has created a new traditional bowhunter.
Thanks again to everyone involved.
-
Z you and Deb can stop out to shoot anytime you are in the area. Or we will see you 2 at an OSTA shoot.
Mark I have a quiver that I think belongs to you.

Fox nuts I will be ready when the ice melts. Give me a call I'm in the book.
Longstiks thanks for end that chase I was out of arrows:-)
-
Once again I had a great time. If we do this again in the snow I'll have to go to Mark's and buy a bunch of $3.99 plastic snowshoes. I could have made a killing. LOL LOL LOL
Thanks again to Greg, Ellen and everyone else who took part in all the fun.
Hope to make it to an OSTA shoot this year.
