If it were made in the 90s Fred Asbell owned the company.  Glen and Ron Nelson were bowyers.

I will check mine tomorrow and look at my serial numbers to help you narrow it down.

Ron Nelson owns the company now.  Maybe he can help.  [email protected]

The 62-S is 62" limbs on the short riser. I have one that was made in 1992 that is a 62-s and the serial # is 02096 King had already bought bighorn from Fred at that time or at least a big percentage of the company. I dont think Ron and Glenn were still there in 92. Hope this helps

Dean, the 62's limbs came out when Bighorn went to the flat limb-bed.  62" was popular and became available on both risers in 90.  I don't think the 'horns serial numbers were that easy to decipher.  Hope this helps...........Shick

I bought a Bighorn in 1990, it had a simple serial number if I remember correctly. It was marked #92. The bow has been gone a long time now so I can't check it to be sure.
