Thanks for the info. I have not seen these guys before. I use merino wool long underwear and swear by it over all other types of material. I will check this out.

Looks like nice stuff.

Though I am a big fan of bib - long under wear bottoms.  It gives me an extra layer on the core and keeps the back covered in the tree stand when sitting.  Or standing...or sitting again.

That looks very interesting. Being partial both to wool and ASAT I'll have to check into that stuff.

That looks pretty good. I love the ASAT pattern I just wish it was more available. Anyone have any ideas on how soon, soon is? On this product or the ASAT elite series clothing?

Hello, my name is kenton i am one of the owners of firstlite. We are based out of ketchum Idaho. Thanks for all the positive feedback. Our actual site should be up and running by the middle of july.We have had great response to the product.we have dealers in the U.S. and Canada and are  seeking more.if you dont have a dealer close by we will sell direct. as most of you trad guys know merino has the unique ability to breath when its hot and keep you warm when its cold as well as being naturaly odor free.we tried so many different patterns before  asat it was unbelievable.finely my business partner tried the asat jacket and after about five minutes in the woods it was clear that that was the pattern for us. ps. granpa, the bison gear packs are the best ive used Thanks for making them in the asat wool.

Kenton - Cool, thanx for the reply. Can you put a hoody on them?

I have a flannel type button-up vest with hoody and love it, but it's a bright color. Always wanted (and have been looking for) one in a earth tone plaid or camo.

In milder hunting weather, with the hoody vest you can stay cool with it unbuttoned, and once the sun goes down or if it starts to rain, the hoody helps a lot to keep you warm.

BTW - Buttons are classier that zippers, and pullovers don't have climate control…8^)

I'm not advertising my services just saying this, I am a First Lite Dealer. Merino wool is fantastic insulating layer and FL comes in both ASAT and black. Great company to do business with they really care about being what you want in a hunting clothing company.

Does First Lite have plans to come out with pants and outerwear, or are they just going to offer the base layers?

Thanks,
Daddy Bear

Right now they are just doing base layers. They will be offering an outer shirt soon. The Chama is like a henley shirt and can be worn over a Llano for two layers of merino wonderfulness(is that a word?) anyway, They will be offering a shirt called a Camas which is a workshirt style button down with a Scholler Softshell exterior and merino interior. Another feature of Firt Lite Merino wool is it is BOTH machine washable AND exclusively machine dryable.
