Hello tradgangers. I know alot of you guys are partial to osage bows.
I was looking at the history of them and found one of the earliest ones came from a large indian burial mound here in my home state.
I found many pics of gahagan knives, arrow points, masks, beads, etc. But no bow.
They describe a well preserved 66in recurve osage bow but I can't find a pic of it anywhere. It is supposedly one of the earliest bows in NA. I can't believe there are no pictures of it anywhere.
So can any of you help me out? I'm just looking for a picture of it. I thought someone might have it saved. Or does someone at least know what museum it's stored in? Thanks guys.

this website is full of good info. topped of by a pic of a supposedly accurate artist rendering of one of the bows in question. It's a lil distance on it, but you can still kinda see how much recurve is has.
but I'd much rather see an actual photo. I wonder if its in the encyclopedia of native american bows.
