Title: bison gear and camera equipment

The most frustrating part of quality products is having to choose just one.  I cannot for the life ofme decide beteen the two compartment first trip explorer and the larger single comartment lost river.  I want a day pack essentially for huning close to home/truck/camp.  I have a 90 litre expedition internal frame for getting out there, but am in need of something during the hunt to pack the essentials.  I am also wanting something I can pack my Nikon D200 DSLR and a single lens in.

I know questions like this are the same as "which broadhead.."  and I will get as many opinions as there are packs, but I would like to hear from guys who own the packs, and their honest opinions.

I had the single compartment and really didn't like it for toting survival/hunting gear and my DSLR together. I much prefer a two compartment pack for that. I keep the hunting/survival gear in the lower compartment, and food & camera gear (in a Zip-Lock freezer bag) in the top compartment.

I had Angie build me one of his Bison Gear Elk Pack models in wool outfitter camo. It has one large main compartment, three smaller ones on the lower back and sides, plus another in the top fold over.  I actually sold my FTE model and replaced it with this one. Perfect day pack or over night pack.  I carry my Canon Rebel digital SLR and Powershot in mine.

thanks for the input guys.  I was leaning toward the 2 compartment, guess that is the way I will go.
