I had mine set for 3- 30 sec. vids. It had 4 vids on it and said the memory was full? I cleared the card, reinserted it and tested it, It got partway through one 30 sec. vid and said memory was full. The card is a 2 GB. It should hold more than that right?
So far I like this camera. This is the only gltch I've had. Could be the card?

I have 2 of these cameras, but haven't used the video setup yet. the photo setting works great. The only issue I have with the camera is the straps for attaching to the tree. One keeps coming undone. The other one had one of the plastic pcs break off the end of the strap and I found it lying on the ground. got alot of pics of branches blowing in the breeze>>>> I'll keep an eye on this thread, be interesting to see if any others are having the same issue as you are.

Maybe the card is bad. We had one go out and had to just chunk it.

This was my thought...have your computer check it over to see what the size is. I believe you can right click the card while it's in the computer and then see if it is good for the full memory size.
I have one that I will be checking tomorrow...it's been two weeks since I last checked it. Can't waite.

Thanks guys. Hey Gordon, post those moose pics in the 2008 trail cam thread, I'd love to see them!
Oh.. check out the "mystery critter" post I have up and see if you can tell what that is moving in the lower left corner. Its right at the beginning and very fast.

Jim, I don't have that same model, but I do have a couple of the older Moultries. We found early on that you need to not just delete the pics/videos from the cards but actually format the card. It would probably even be best to put the card in your computer, format it, then put it in the camera and format it again with the camera. Hope that helps.
(To format it on the computer, just right click on the "card" listed in "My Computer", click on "Format", then make sure that "quick format" is NOT checked.)

I have the Moultrie I40 also. I believe the setup manual says to make sure you clear the cameras INTERNAL memory first before inserting the external card. They have a help section on their website also.

Set the video quality to "low" and you'll get more on the card.
