I've gotten pretty busy in my shop making Bamboo backed bows and have no way of getting all the saw dust out of the shop besides with a broom. Which that doesn't really get it up it just stirs it up in the air more. I'm just looking for ideas to get all the saw dust out. What do some of use guys use? I thought about an exhaust fan, I found one of those for $150 locally but wanted some other input before i did anything. Thanks

Dust collection systems/units would be the best. Try to get the dust before it comes out of your machines. A shopvac or other vacuum collectors also work well for poor guys like me;) Exhaust fan also is a good idea. Even a fan in the window blowing outward will help tremendously. Matt

USE A PORTABLE DUST COLLECTOR! Make sure it has the fine ( 3 micron or less) filtration bags. You can get the portable one and move it from machine to machine. Get a household 20x20 box fan. Make a cage for it that you can slip a 20x20 fine micron furnace filter on the inlet side to filter the air you are breathing. Finally WHRE A DUST MASK. The cost on all this is not very high if you research some and your lungs and sinuses will be grateful.
