It is my understanding the Rancho Safari was devestated by fire this past summer. I've been trying to contact them without any luck to inquire about a light weight, shaggy long coat. Their web page list a 800 number which rings to someone else. Are they closed for good or will they be back in business? Would appreciate any info that might be available. :help: :banghead:

Their site was last modified (updated most likely) about two minutes ago. New product listings for this month of December so it appears they're in business. Maybe it's online transactions only? Not too sure.

Just got an e-mail from Jerry with Rancho Safari. They are in the process of getting the business up and running again. The web site has been re-done but he is not able to take on-line orders just yet. He is filling orders as they come in by phone, fax or mail. The wild fire that swept through his place was in October, 2007. It destroyed everything. I've been holding off buying a longcoat until he is up and running again. Seems the least I could do to help out. Now the TradGang community is fully updated and informed

Bill, the image of you wearing a shaggy long coat is beyond my imagination. Have you talked this over with Danny? :bigsmyl: ...Van

Had to. If he decided to stump shoot while working his way to my hunting area I'd be in real trouble. With my luck I would be the only thing he would hit all day. :biglaugh:

Bill, 3RA sells them. And Bernie Swank of Mystic Longbows also.

With Danny's luck you are probably right, Bill :biglaugh: :biglaugh: ...Van
