3 of us mountianeers are heading down to Ray Hammonds place Thursday morning to meet up with Ray on Friday . Dirk Morton, Pat Reed and myself will try to bring some pork back home to WV . But I promise I'll never be hurting for something to laugh about with these 2. Dirk is super whitty and Pat will keep us both tore up, I just listen:) Like Pat says " getting there is the best parts of the adventure"!
We are looking forward to getting away from the snow as it is supposed to be 4 degrees here when we leave. Our deer archery season is essentially over for us at Thanksgiving so we are chomping at the bit to get in the woods. I'll update when we get back .
We are looking foward to meeting Ray, Pat Reed has never hog hunted before and both of these guys are new to traditional hunting. It will be a great trip.

There are a lot of folk from WV who live here in the Lowcountry. We probably have at least a dozen in our church alone. They are mighty fine people, as are the fine people I met when I hunted in Randolph County for 22 seasons.
Now as for those folk from GA, I can't speak for them. hehehe ;) :) :biglaugh:
-
good luck
-
Yeah we ALL Play Banjos :)
Wait until I bring pictures back of Pat Reed , you'll really think he needs a banjo :)
Biggie you say Ray filled in for Ned in that one Scene :)
Mr Lamb where in Randolph county, I was born and raised there until I was in HS then we moved to Kanawha county, I now live in Putnam.
We pull out in the morning with a forecast of 4 degrees here. The low Friday down there is 9 degrees ,anyone know how this will effect the daytime movement of hogs?

Biggie, you know I was the technical consultant for the whole picture. It was Matt who was Ned's stand in. That's why the boy never got married.
Burt and John couldnt shoot worth a hoot, and Ned would never hold still!
