Can you twist a Flemish string too much to correct brace height?
-
unless it was made way too long I don't think you will hurt it any. Drew

I twist my strings up pretty tight, at least I used to, I dont have a need to anymore. U will be ok as long as the string is not knotted up when you string the bow up, it will knot up on you when you unstring the bow...better to shorten the string or make a new one!!!!
hope this helps

It's about an inch too long.

Cool. Thanks.

don't know much about flemish but you could untwist the splice and resplice it shorter. couldn't you??

If you choose to use a silencer like beaver or such that will take up some space as well...and yes an inch is a lot of twisting!!!
