Title: Woodsman 125 Screw-in

Ya know, I think I am gonna like these heads. I shoot 125's on everything and at first glance I didnt like them due to the fact they are 3/8" shorter than the standard woodsman which I really liked, but after looking at them seriously a few days ago I ordered another 3-pack. I figured with all the success people have had with the Razorcap (these are about 1/4" longer, same width) and the Muzzy Phantom (these are 1/4" longer, 1/8" narrower) penetration should not be an issue at all. The quality is greatly improved over my last try at woodsmans over a year ago and I had my whole order at my door within 48 hours of ordering. These heads actually appear flawless. I am already looking forward to next November!

Just my $.02 on what I feel is going to be a great broadhead!

I like the looks of them as well. I picked up a 3 pack at the end of this past season but missed the chance to send one thru a deer!   :banghead:  I don't think penetration will be an issue with these!

I would love to try and put one through a bear!

I just sold all my razorcaps to a fellow ganger and bought 6 more. A dozen of these should be enough for the year, at $5.32 a head it can't hurt to have extras!

This season I shot one deer with a STOS double bevel, and another with a Woodsmen screw-in.  Both were brought up to the same FOC, identical arrow setup.  Both shots were quartering away, complete pass through on both animals.  The bloodtrail with the Woodsmen was at times a foot wide, not the case with the STOS.  Both are great heads, but I do like the added damage of three blades.

I wonder if the quality of the heavier ones has gone up as well. My old original glue ons were easy to sharpen. The 150 grain screw ins were really rough...took forever to sharpen. They are fine once you get them flat, but I can see why some guys were frustrated with trying to sharpen them. I like the glue ons so I can use heavy adapters for carbon arrows. The 125's should be great on 1916's though.

30coupe, the grind was poor for a while but the new ones are very good, all versions.   :thumbsup:

I've been hoping Woodsman would put out a 150 glue-on.
