I'm kinda new to all of this....so bear with me....
I just ordered a new Mohawk longbow. Let's say, for the sake of this exercise, the bow is cut closer to center shot. If that's true....(question part that sounds like a statement), wouldn't I be able to shoot a more stiff spined arrow? Wouldn't this allow for a wider range of arrows to be utilized?
I havent asked Vince how close to center his bows are cut to, but if someone knows, I'd appreciate it. I've got some arrows I can try.....and if I need to get more, I can. Badger's running a special!
Thanks.

You are correct, the closer to center a bow is cut the stiffer you can shoot. Doesn't mean you have to shoot stiffer but it allows you more range in spines.
I don't know anything about the bow your asking about.

Jeff:
As Mike said you will probably find you will need a stiffer arrow with a bow cut too center. Keep in mind the differences in a normal less than center bow and one that is center shot is usually around 1/8". And a 1/16" of an inch can and usually does make a difference of about 5# in spine.
