Title: My St. Joe River Longbow (Pics) (Update)
Post by: 1/4 away on March 28, 2009, 04:03:00 PM
I was going to wait until I actually had the bow in hand before posting pics but after receiving these this morning from Dick Swager I couldn't contain myself.  I contacted Dick earlier this month to test drive one of his bows. To say I was impressed with Dick's craftsmanship is an understatement and his bow shot like a dream. After many conversations both on the phone and via email I decided to have Dick build me a bow.
Dick kept me appraised of the progress both by phone and email with pics. The bow should be finished and on its way to me by mid-week. If you're considering a new bow you owe it to yourself to give Dick a call.

Well as promised the bow arrived today and Dick did a phenomenal job!!!  The bow is even more striking in person. I was only able to fling a few arrows thru it cause its pouring rain here but its all I could want in a bow. I will post some more pics once the weather clears.

Beauty Fred, How many bow's do you have now? You may need some help from the Tradgang bow buying intervention group.

Thanks Tom. Actually I'm a reformed bowaholic ..LOL     I've narrowed my stable down to my St Joe and my "tip". But I see a St Joe recurve in my future!
