Title: martin hunter brace height
Post by: fountain on March 29, 2009, 07:21:00 PM
for those with the hunter recurve, what do you have the brace height at?  i just got one and want a good starting point.  i researched the martin page, but still want more opinions.  mine is 50@ 28 and shoot split.  i am shooting full length 35/55 traditional gt's and want to try to stay around a 175 gr. point--with or without the brass inserts-.  what arrows are you shooting out of your bows with these specs.  i have not had a good chace to bare shaft with any results yet as we have had horrible winds here for the last 2-3 days.
thanks for your input

You can start at 7.5 inches and go up from there.  I ended up at 8 inches.  Hunters like a high nock point, anywhere from .5 to .75 inches.
