I have a batch of turkey feathers that I need to get done. the problem I have is I snipped them all off at the base of the wing and by the reading about some vendors here on the gang most of them prefer the feather be in tact to process. I have included a picture to show what they look like and wondered if anyone out there knew of someone that processed feathers like these. Raven arrows 208-256-4341.
Jan does a great job and a quick turn around.
I cut mine like that and she had no problem..

Check with Bill Semerod in Meadville, PA. His telephone number is [814] 333-2819. He has done a couple of batches for me and both batches were good.

Fox Squirrel: I will trade with you on these. I will grind for half and trade you out of your unwanted secondaries and tail feathers with additional primaries/ground fletching. It is fine to "clip" the primaries but you need to leave the quills on the secondaries and tail feathers for the best trade ratio. I have a video on You Tube that shows my technique for processing turkey wings and tails to keep the quills intact. The link is www.customfeathers.com/feathers.htm (http://www.customfeathers.com/feathers.htm) Thanks! David Mitchell
